ISN’T LIFE A STITCH, Marcell, MN
The Northwoods Quilters quilting club in Marcell, MN believes in fighting CF one block at a time. Shortly after Paige’s diagnosis, Barb Ryan, a childhood neighbor and close family friend, asked her quilting club if they would be interested in making and donating a quilt to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Twenty-five quilters agreed to donate hours of their time and talent to create a breathtaking queen-size quilt. The group selected a rose theme in honor of the CFF’s symbol (65 roses). The queen-sized quilt, valued at over $700, raised more than $1900 in raffle ticket sales.

Thank you all for giving a gift that is: “soft enough to comfort you, bright enough to cheer you, generous enough to enfold you, strong enough to withstand adversity, durable enough to last a lifetime, and given gladly, from the heart.”
